About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise on executive compensation and employee benefits issues in connection with M&A, private equity, IPOs, and restructurings
- Counsel founders, CEOs, and boards on employment agreements and equity incentive structures
- Provide strategic guidance on tax and ERISA considerations
- Support compensation aspects of complex and confidential corporate events
Requirements
- 4–8 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience
- Experience at an Am Law 50 or comparable practice preferred
- Strong experience in transaction-related compensation matters
- Technical expertise in tax and ERISA aspects of executive compensation
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced advisory environment
