Executive Chef

Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve a signature culinary vision for Hotel Jerome that is seasonal, ingredient-driven, and rooted in the Aspen alpine setting
• Champion culinary excellence across multiple venues including Prospect, J-Bar, Bad Harriet, and private dining
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing culinary team grounded in professionalism and craftsmanship
• Oversee all culinary operations with a disciplined approach to menu engineering, cost controls, and sourcing strategy
• Partner with Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Events teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Serve as a culinary ambassador, engaging with media, guests, and the local community to position the property as a social heartbeat

Requirements

• Graduate of a leading culinary institution or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
• Prior Executive Chef experience in luxury hotels, private clubs, or destination restaurants
• Proven track record of managing multi-venue dining programs
• Deep understanding of European technique and finesse
• Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting and systems management
• Polished communication skills for engaging with media and high-profile guests
