About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all Culinary Services team members including scheduling, hiring, and performance reviews
- Meet regularly with residents and family members to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Coordinate with the restaurant manager to deliver a fine dining experience
- Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served according to company standards and health codes
- Manage monthly and annual budgets for food, supplies, and labor
- Plan and develop recipes and menus based on resident preferences and budgets
- Oversee inventory of kitchen supplies, small wares, and tableware
- Plan and execute Life Enrichment events, banquets, and themed meals
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage purchasing standards
Requirements
- Five or more years of culinary experience in fine dining or hospitality
- High School Diploma or GED
- Food handlers permit as required by law
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills
