About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all Culinary Services team members including scheduling, hiring, and performance reviews
- Meet regularly with residents and family members to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Coordinate with front of house and back of house teams to deliver fine dining experiences
- Ensure food preparation, storage, and service meet company standards and health code requirements
- Manage monthly and annual budgets for food, supplies, and labor
- Plan and develop recipes and menus based on resident preferences and budgets
- Oversee inventory of kitchen supplies, small wares, and tableware
- Manage vendor relationships and purchasing standards
- Execute Life Enrichment events, special events, banquets, and themed meals
- Support marketing efforts through culinary demonstrations
Requirements
- 5+ years of culinary experience in fine dining or hospitality
- High School Diploma or GED
- Food handlers permit as required by law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
