About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the business leader for one of four dining halls
  • Develop culinary concepts, recipes, programs, and standards
  • Lead food safety implementation and training
  • Oversee and develop a group of dedicated unionized employees
  • Assist management with budgets, cost controls, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and participation

Requirements

  • Red Seal Chef status
  • Five years of recent experience leading high-volume culinary teams
  • ServeSafe and FoodSafe certification
  • Experience in cost control and employee management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (French ability is an asset)
  • Proficiency with computers and POS equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and commitment to quality
