About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the business leader for one of four dining halls
- Develop culinary concepts, recipes, programs, and standards
- Lead food safety implementation and training
- Oversee and develop a group of dedicated unionized employees
- Assist management with budgets, cost controls, and operational efficiency
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and participation
Requirements
- Red Seal Chef status
- Five years of recent experience leading high-volume culinary teams
- ServeSafe and FoodSafe certification
- Experience in cost control and employee management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (French ability is an asset)
- Proficiency with computers and POS equipment
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to quality
