About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen food production and ensure adherence to corporate specifications and policies
  • Manage food quality, food cost to budget, and labor cost to budget
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards to ensure readiness for health inspections
  • Manage inventory, stock controls, ordering, receiving, and physical inventory
  • Develop menus and create new recipe ideas
  • Coordinate prep work and station par levels

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Executive Chef experience in a high-quality culinary environment or a culinary school graduate
  • Strong knowledge of culinary trends and execution
  • Certified manager sanitation certification
  • Basic knowledge of first aid
  • Ability to stand for full shifts and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends
