About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen food production and ensure adherence to corporate specifications and policies
- Manage food quality, food cost to budget, and labor cost to budget
- Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards to ensure readiness for health inspections
- Manage inventory, stock controls, ordering, receiving, and physical inventory
- Develop menus and create new recipe ideas
- Coordinate prep work and station par levels
Requirements
- 3+ years of Executive Chef experience in a high-quality culinary environment or a culinary school graduate
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends and execution
- Certified manager sanitation certification
- Basic knowledge of first aid
- Ability to stand for full shifts and lift at least 50 pounds
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends
