Executive Chef - Bakery

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of bakery production, food quality, and presentation
• Manage bakery food production, including preparation, portioning, and service support for various outlets
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and maintain strict stock control to minimize waste
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to uphold operational and service excellence
• Create and introduce innovative bakery products and seasonal menu enhancements
• Ensure all standard recipes, manuals, and kitchen operating procedures are followed and updated
• Monitor recipe costing and menu pricing to support food cost targets and profitability
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards across all kitchen areas

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or cruise ship environment
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a bakery or pastry kitchen
• Culinary school diploma or professional culinary certification preferred
• Valid Food Handler Certification
• Strong knowledge of bakery production, food safety standards, and inventory control
• Expertise in recipe costing and menu pricing
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
