About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative and logistical support to the Regional Vice President, including complex calendar management across multiple time zones.
- Prepare daily briefing books, supporting materials, and routine correspondence, ensuring accuracy and strict confidentiality.
- Manage all aspects of travel and mission logistics, including flights, hotels, visas, and detailed itineraries.
- Coordinate logistical support for high-level meetings and events, such as leadership retreats, conferences, and WBG corporate meetings.
- Serve as a key liaison between the RVP's office and internal/external stakeholders, including WBG Managing Directors and external partners.
- Implement office procedures, maintain accurate filing systems, and manage office expenses, procurement requests, and purchase orders via SAP.
- Provide leadership and guidance to administrative staff across the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Fluency in English (written and oral) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaborative platforms like Teams and SharePoint.
- Proficiency in SAP and other enterprise administrative systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unexpected changes or urgent requests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in the Arabic language.
- Prior experience working within IFC or World Bank Group front offices.
