About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the Neurosurgery Chair and assigned section Chiefs
- Manage complex calendars, including scheduling appointments, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics
- Coordinate comprehensive travel arrangements and process expense reimbursements
- Serve as the primary gatekeeper and liaison for internal and external constituencies
- Oversee logistics for high-level meetings and events, including preparing agendas and supporting documents
- Conduct high-level research, create presentations, and edit executive documents
- Maintain Attendings on-call schedules using specialized software such as Qgenda and Anserve
- Assist senior leadership in coordinating academic, clinical, research, and operational tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related discipline
- 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in business, education, healthcare, or a similar environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars and travel logistics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high-level organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting executive leadership, Department Chairs, or clinical Section Chiefs
- Proficiency with specialized scheduling and call-rotation software, specifically Qgenda and Anserve
- Proven history of maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
