About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to Director, VP, and SVP levels within the Research department
- Proactively manage complex calendars, including meeting invitations, logistics, and priority scheduling
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports
- Act as a liaison between the department and functions such as HR, Finance, IT, and Facilities
- Plan and execute internal and external department meetings, celebrations, and team-building events
- Manage the onboarding process for new staff, including full-time employees and contractors
- Maintain departmental records, process forms, and manage office supplies
- Resolve routine administrative inquiries and provide backup support for other coordinators
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant administrative experience
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and project management abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Concur travel and expense software
