About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide multifaceted administrative leadership and operational support for the Provost and the Academics and Student Experience (ASE) division.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including calendar management for the Provost and Senior Vice President.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the division, ensuring professional and responsive service to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Lead communication efforts, including managing divisional websites, social media, and the monthly ASE & Faculty Newsletter.
  • Coordinate and execute divisional annual events such as New Faculty Orientation and the Undergraduate Research Showcase.
  • Support academic processes by scheduling meetings, compiling minutes, and tracking annual deadlines for sabbatical requests and unit reports.
  • Monitor divisional financial accounts, reconcile expenses, and manage purchasing card activities.
  • Maintain confidential files and archives in compliance with FERPA regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR 4 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Forms, Calendar, Slides, Docs, Sheets).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency in WordPress.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous office management experience in a high-volume setting.
  • Experience communicating effectively across multiple modalities.
  • Proven track record in event planning and advanced budget management.
