About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the Vice President, Human Resources & CHRO, including managing messages, meetings, and tasks.
  • Coordinate complex calendars, travel arrangements, and University/community functions.
  • Prepare, review, and track Concur expense reports and reimbursement documentation for the Vice President and designated leaders.
  • Manage special projects and events to support the overall HR strategy.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for the HR division, greeting visitors and directing inquiries professionally.
  • Draft general correspondence and assist with the dissemination of internal and external communications.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and managing electronic recordkeeping systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5 years of related administrative or executive support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Typing proficiency of 60+ words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree.
  • Administrative work experience within a higher education academic environment.
  • Prior professional experience working in Human Resources.
