EWIS Wiring Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with systems engineers to capture signal routing needs in wire diagrams using Siemens Capital
• Coordinate with design and build teams on harness design, installation requirements, and connector selection
• Provide support during manufacturing, installation, and testing phases in Mojave, CA

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Detailed documentation rigor and excellent cross-functional communication skills
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats, intellectual curiosity, and versatility

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EWIS architecture development for transport or commercial aircraft
• Familiarity with electrical bonding, shielding, and EMI/EMC compliance
• Knowledge of system safety assessments (SSA/FHA) and their impact on EWIS design
• Background in Nx electrical routing tools and wiring harness production/installation
• Trade school certification and/or A&P license
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing with wire rework
