EVS Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms
• Follow established cleaning protocols and infection control procedures
• Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
• Handle waste management including trash, recycling, and biohazardous materials
• Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisor
• Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests and safety hazards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure facility cleanliness
• Maintain a friendly and respectful attitude towards residents and staff

Requirements

• Previous experience in environmental services, janitorial, or custodial work
• Experience in healthcare or senior living environments preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection control techniques
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliability and punctuality for the Thursday to Monday schedule
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals
