EVS Operator

Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineering Department on EVS processes, updates, and technical questions
• Provide insight and direction to freelance EVS operators on workflow and standard procedures
• Manage multiple EVS XT-Go machines to ensure appropriate space and systematic archiving
• Meet with show producers and directors to determine best EVS use for production needs
• Operate EVS XT-Go for pregame, postgame, studio shows, and alternate broadcasts
• Edit game highlights and player packages efficiently and creatively with minimal supervision
• Integrate clips from sources such as Adobe Premiere and Chyron Paint
• Use a router to ensure accurate sourcing of video feeds
• Use X-File software to retrieve and archive clips
• Troubleshoot problems and report equipment issues to Engineering

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating EVS for professional broadcasts
• Knowledge of live television production processes
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
