About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze Earned Value Management (EVM) systems and Integrated Program Management (IPM) metrics (CPI, SPI, CV, SV, EAC, ETC, VAC)
- Evaluate program technical, cost, and schedule baselines through Initial Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and ongoing maintenance
- Perform Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) analysis to identify performance trends, critical path impacts, and risks
- Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAMs), engineers, and program leadership to identify root causes of variances and develop corrective actions
- Forecast program cost and schedule outcomes using historical actuals, trend analysis, and manufacturing forecasts
- Develop automated reports, executive dashboards, and briefings to support senior decision-making
- Perform ETL activities across cost, schedule, and ERP systems to ensure data validation and audit readiness
- Develop life-cycle cost estimates and perform economic/affordability analyses, including cost-benefit and alternatives analyses
- Mentor and train junior cost and program control analysts
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in cost analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), program controls, or budget execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate and defend complex analytical results both verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Deltek Cobra or Primavera P6
- Experience with Power Query, SQL, Power BI, or R
- Active SECRET security clearance
- ICEAA or DAWIA certification
