Events Production Lead Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide full technical support for events, including setup, operation, troubleshooting, and teardown of audio-visual, lighting, and staging systems
• Maintain all event space systems including audio, lighting, projection, and screens
• Assist with inventory control and coordinate equipment logistics and external vendor rentals
• Deliver high-quality audio, video, and lighting execution, including live mixing
• Support stage production needs including rigging, truss work, and stage decking
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for temporary production technicians
• Collaborate with event planners and clients to support technical requirements and event flow

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience supporting live events
• Strong expertise in audio-visual and lighting systems
• Hands-on experience setting up, operating, and repairing AV equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and cloud-based platforms
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in audio-visual technology or a related field
• Working knowledge of Dante audio systems
• Experience with grandMA lighting control systems
• Experience creating training materials and delivering end-user training
