About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage complete F&B events and banqueting operations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of events from consultation to post-event evaluation
- Manage event budgets, monitor costs, and identify revenue maximization opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations
- Train, supervise, and mentor the events and banqueting team
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments for resource delivery
- Address guest concerns and resolve operational issues promptly
- Monitor and analyze event performance metrics to improve efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in events management, banqueting, or hospitality operations
- Expertise in planning and executing large-scale events
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
