About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Bluefish's global events portfolio, including owned thought leadership events, sponsored events, and client roundtables
- Oversee end-to-end event operations including budgets, timelines, creative development, and vendor relationships
- Project manage external agencies and production teams to deliver high-quality event experiences
- Negotiate contracts with tourism boards, convention centers, and hotels
- Collaborate with executive leaders to shape event objectives, content, and storytelling
- Partner with Marketing and Editorial teams to build compelling programming and narratives
- Own the events calendar and track ROI, leads, and pipeline influence
Requirements
- 10-14 years of experience leading events (conferences, field marketing, trade shows, and client experiences)
- Experience within a SaaS, Martech, or high-growth startup environment
- Proven track record in negotiating vendor contracts and managing complex budgets
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational capabilities
- Data-informed approach to measuring event success and ROI
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure in a fast-paced environment
