Events Executive

Responsibilities

• Aggressively pursue, solicit, and sell business to meet individual sales goals and overall profitability.
• Conduct telephone and personal sales calls to accounts and follow up promptly with appropriate actions.
• Negotiate with clients to achieve maximum revenue and profit potential while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge and stay informed about competitor activities.
• Represent the hotel in sales meetings and industry-related organizations.
• Manage confirmed events by detailing group bookings and maintaining organized documentation.
• Produce Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), Group Resumes, and Rooming Lists.
• Coordinate special events, promotions, and publicity activities as assigned.
• Plan activities in advance and communicate all event details to relevant teams in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a 5* hotel environment.
• Strong understanding of respective hospitality markets.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and sponsors.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in additional foreign languages.
