About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate school-wide events including community, fundraising, and parent engagement opportunities
- Collaborate with the Parent Faculty Association and campus departments to implement programs
- Manage major school events such as commencement and all-school gatherings
- Recruit, manage, and support event volunteers
- Develop event timelines, logistics, and run-of-show documents
- Coordinate facilities, catering, audiovisual needs, and vendor management
- Market events and produce collateral in collaboration with Advancement and communications teams
- Track and manage event budgets and expenses
- Manage guest registration and attendance tracking
- Participate in meetings and events occurring in the evenings or on weekends
Requirements
- At least three years of experience managing events or related programs
- Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong project management and relationship management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Asana or Veracross
- Experience in volunteer management and stewardship
