About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning of various Aledade events, including the biannual All Staff Retreat, HQ events, and customer-facing offsites.
  • Execute logistical duties such as managing registration processes, designing name badges, ordering swag, and coordinating catering.
  • Develop and execute project plans, providing regular updates to stakeholders and business units.
  • Advise team members on standard protocols and recommended action steps for event creation.
  • Manage event setup and breakdown, including physical tasks like moving furniture and transporting supplies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of direct experience supporting events in a corporate or nonprofit setting.
  • Proficiency in the CVENT event management platform (registration, attendee management, venue sourcing, and reporting).
  • Must be based in the Bethesda, MD area and able to work in-office full-time.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% during busy seasons and work non-traditional hours as needed for events.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry at least 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and manage event budgets.
  • A proactive, collaborative team player with a "roll-up your sleeves" mentality.
