Responsibilities

• Build and execute a comprehensive events roadmap tailored to Austin's founder audiences
• Foster relationships with VCs, startup founders, and ecosystem builders across Texas
• Own end-to-end event planning and execution, including major anchor events
• Build strategic partnerships with VC firms, accelerators, and community organizations
• Cultivate a vibrant community among Rho customers through targeted programming
• Represent Rho as a brand ambassador within the Austin startup ecosystem
• Manage event budgets and track program success metrics

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience building and scaling professional communities
• Strong existing network within the Austin and broader Texas startup ecosystem
• Deep understanding of startup ecosystem dynamics and founder/operator needs
• Proven track record of establishing strategic partnerships with relevant organizations
• Data-driven approach to community building with experience tracking KPIs
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Background working at a high-growth startup, VC firm, or scaleup
• Prior experience building communities for B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software
