Events Associate

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences annually
• Source, compare, and negotiate with suppliers for venues, branding, and event add-ons
• Plan and coordinate sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer organisation on-site
• Maintain event inventory tracking and quality-check design materials
• Manage budgets and raise changes ahead of time

Requirements

• UK work permit
• Strong organisational skills with ability to structure and prioritise work
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• High sense of urgency, ownership, and follow-through
• Curiosity about people and ability to build and nurture relationships
• No specific previous work experience required; training is provided
