About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute the service plan by preparing monthly schedules for resident events and programming
- Plan and host monthly events to promote social engagement, wellness, and enrichment
- Work with corporate, government, and nonprofit partners to create community-specific programs
- Organize and host educational workshops for adults and youth
- Meet with residents to provide support and connect them with resources
- Communicate regularly with onsite staff and submit monthly impact reports
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills and English fluency
- Current driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to bend, stand, and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to serve as part of a two-person team for a 2-year commitment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience serving at-risk populations
- Previous event planning or budget management experience
- Experience using social media
- Existing network of volunteers, vendors, or community partners
