Event Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure equipment is working properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve basic technical issues with equipment and software in a professional manner.
• Monitor live events and check in with customers throughout the day to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Manage equipment sheets, complete order entries in Navigator, and assist with finalizing client invoices.
• Utilize floor up-selling techniques to help increase company revenue.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete required technical training and certifications within 60 days of the start date.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment.
