Event Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute the setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure technical needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve basic equipment and software issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor live events to ensure continuous technical support and customer satisfaction.
• Manage equipment sheets, complete accurate paperwork, and assist with order entries.
• Utilize up-selling techniques to help increase event revenue.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods in a hospitality environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent educational background.
