Event Technician, Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure equipment is working properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve basic technical issues related to audiovisual equipment and software.
• Monitor ongoing events to ensure continuous client satisfaction and professional service.
• Manage equipment sheets to determine scheduled setup and strike requirements.
• Complete necessary paperwork, system entries, and order entries accurately.
• Utilize up-selling techniques to help increase revenue.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment.
