Event Technician, Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure equipment is working properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical equipment and software issues in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, including equipment sheets and order entries in Navigator.
• Monitor live events to ensure continuous technical support and client satisfaction.
• Utilize floor up-selling techniques to help increase company revenue.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and handle physical demands including standing, walking, and bending.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment.
