Event Technician, Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Execute the accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure equipment is working properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve basic technical issues related to audiovisual equipment and software.
• Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and proactive event monitoring.
• Manage administrative tasks including equipment sheets, order entries in Navigator, and finalizing client invoices.
• Utilize up-selling techniques to help increase company revenue.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete all required technical training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or the hospitality industry.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent experience in an educational environment.
