Event Technician, Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure equipment is working properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve basic technical issues related to audiovisual equipment and software.
• Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and proactive event monitoring.
• Follow company procedures for equipment sheets, order entries, and administrative paperwork.
• Utilize floor up-selling techniques to help increase revenue.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods in a hospitality environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment.
