Event Technician, Audio Visual

Responsibilities

• Execute the accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure equipment is working properly and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve basic technical issues related to audiovisual equipment and software.
• Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and proactive event monitoring.
• Manage administrative tasks including following company procedures, completing paperwork, and utilizing equipment sheets.
• Support revenue growth through floor up-selling techniques and assisting clients with final invoices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to complete all required technical training and certifications within 60 days of the start date.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a hotel or convention center environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment.
