Event Staff

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests
• Perform various roles including Ticket-Taker, Usher, Bag Checker, Parking Attendant, and Crowd Management
• Educate guests on safety policies using a positive and calm manner
• Observe surroundings to detect and report suspicious or hazardous situations to supervisors
• Implement proper security protocols during event ingress and egress

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Must be able to work a minimum of 2–3 events per month
• Must register as an Unarmed Security Officer through the Virginia DCJS
• Must pass an extensive background check including FBI fingerprints
• Proficiency in basic technology like email, scheduling software, Zoom, and MS Teams
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
