About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site lead for in-person social impact team-building events, managing everything from setup to teardown.
- Participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate partners, nonprofits, and internal coordinators to ensure event readiness.
- Manage the guest check-in process, providing a warm and professional welcome to all attendees.
- Coordinate with on-site teams, including venues, nonprofit partners, and additional staff, to align roles and responsibilities.
- Provide real-time problem-solving for logistical challenges such as missing supplies, technology issues, or staffing delays.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Events Team by sending updates, photos, and videos throughout the event.
- Handle post-event logistics, including site cleanup and repackaging/shipping materials back to the distribution center.
Requirements
- Must be currently based in Plano, TX.
- Proven experience in corporate event execution, ranging from large-scale gatherings to intimate executive events.
- Experience in group facilitation and managing group dynamics.
- Fluency in English with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, on a per-event contract basis.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift, slide, or carry up to 30 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure.
