Event Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site lead for social impact team-building activities and corporate events
• Manage event setup, teardown, and site cleaning to ensure high-quality customer experiences
• Coordinate with corporate partners, nonprofit partners, and venue staff to align roles and responsibilities
• Oversee the guest check-in process and provide a warm, professional welcome
• Problem-solve real-time issues such as technology challenges, missing supplies, or staffing delays
• Provide consistent updates, including photos and videos, to the central Events Team during live events
• Handle logistics including packing supplies, adding shipping labels, and loading boxes for transport

Requirements

• Must be currently based in Munich, Germany
• Fluency in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven experience managing corporate events, ranging from large-scale gatherings to intimate executive sessions
• Experience in group facilitation and managing group dynamics
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, on a per-event contract basis
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift, slide, or carry up to 30 lbs
• Resourceful, quick-thinking, and able to maintain grace under pressure in fast-paced environments
