Event Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site lead for in-person social impact team-building events
• Manage event logistics including setup, teardown, and site cleaning
• Participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate and nonprofit partners
• Coordinate with on-site teams, venues, and staff to ensure high-quality customer experiences
• Manage the guest check-in process and provide a warm welcome to all attendees
• Problem-solve real-time issues such as technology challenges or missing supplies
• Provide consistent updates, photos, and videos to the central Events Team
• Pack, label, and ship event materials back to the distribution center after events

Requirements

• Must be based in Wilmington, DE
• Proven experience in corporate event management and group facilitation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, on a per-event basis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Resourceful problem-solver capable of maintaining grace under pressure
• Ability to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to travel to various locations within the local region
