Event Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site lead for in-person social impact team-building events
• Participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate partners, nonprofits, and internal teams
• Manage event setup, teardown, and site cleaning to ensure a high-quality customer experience
• Oversee the guest check-in process and provide a warm, professional welcome
• Act as a primary problem-solver for on-site issues such as technology challenges or missing supplies
• Coordinate with venue staff, nonprofit partners, and additional event personnel
• Provide real-time updates, including photos and videos, to the central Events Team
• Handle logistics including packing supplies, labeling boxes, and shipping materials back to the distribution center

Requirements

• Must be currently based in Salt Lake City, UT
• Proven experience in corporate event management, including large-scale and executive-level events
• Experience in group facilitation and managing group dynamics
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact with large crowds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, on a per-event contract basis
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift, slide, or carry up to 30 lbs
• Resourceful, quick-thinking, and able to maintain grace under pressure in fast-paced environments
