Event Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site lead for in-person social impact team-building events
• Manage event logistics including setup, teardown, and site cleaning
• Participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate and nonprofit partners
• Oversee the guest check-in process and provide a high-quality customer experience
• Problem-solve real-time issues such as technology challenges or missing supplies
• Coordinate with venue staff, nonprofit partners, and corporate clients
• Provide consistent updates, photos, and videos to the internal Events Team
• Pack, label, and ship event materials back to the distribution center

Requirements

• Based in Los Angeles, CA
• Experience in corporate, large-scale, or executive-level events
• Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Flexible schedule, including availability for nights and weekends
• Resourceful, organized, and able to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
