Event Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site lead for in-person social impact team-building events
• Manage event setup, teardown, and site cleaning to ensure a high-quality customer experience
• Coordinate with corporate partners, nonprofit partners, and venue staff to align roles and responsibilities
• Oversee the guest check-in process and provide a warm, professional welcome
• Problem-solve real-time issues such as technology challenges, missing supplies, or staffing delays
• Provide consistent updates, including photos and videos, to the internal Events Team during live events
• Handle logistics including packing supplies, adding shipping labels, and loading boxes for return

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, CA
• Proven experience in corporate event management, including large-scale and executive-level events
• Experience in group facilitation and managing group dynamics
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Flexible schedule with availability to work on a per-event basis, including nights and weekends
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
