Event Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site lead for social impact team-building events, managing setup, execution, and teardown
• Participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate partners, nonprofits, and internal coordinators
• Manage the guest check-in process and provide a warm, professional welcome to all attendees
• Act as the primary on-site problem solver for issues regarding supplies, technology, or staffing
• Coordinate with venue staff, nonprofit partners, and event hosts to ensure seamless operations
• Provide real-time updates, including photos and videos, to the central Events Team
• Handle post-event logistics, including site cleanup and repackaging materials for shipment

Requirements

• Must be based in Springfield, MA
• Proven experience managing large-scale corporate events or intimate executive-level gatherings
• Experience in group facilitation and managing group dynamics
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and local travel
• Highly organized self-starter with strong English communication skills
