Event Specialist (Marketing & Brand)

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, plan, and manage logistics for in-person and virtual client engagements and strategic events across the Group.
• Create detailed event briefs including objectives, budgets, and requirements, providing creative guidance to internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ensure all events align with Prescient’s brand standards and marketing strategy to deliver high-quality client experiences.
• Manage event budgeting, including securing approvals, post-event reconciliation, and analysis of key learnings.
• Act as the primary contact for strategic industry events and sponsorships, managing branded materials, deadlines, and payments.
• Coordinate logistical support for internal marketing events, strategy sessions, and corporate gifting.
• Maintain and circulate the corporate events calendar and support marketing overflow projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an Event Specialist or Event Planning role.
• Proven experience within financial services or a comparable professional services environment.
• Experience managing both global in-person and virtual events.
• Marketing-related qualification (National Diploma or Degree).
• A valid driver’s licence is essential as travel is required for this role.

• Strong instinct for brand detail, including look, feel, tone, and guest experience consistency.
• Ability to turn events into marketing "moments" through pre-event awareness and post-event follow-through.
• High level of organization with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
