About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end planning, coordination, and onsite execution of events at Spark Arena.
  • Lead and develop a team of two Event Managers, providing guidance and workload allocation.
  • Manage ticketing operations, including on-sale requirements, map builds via TM1, and post-event reporting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for promoters and hirers to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Coordinate front of house operations, including security, ushering, and patron ingress/egress.
  • Lead safety planning, risk management, and health and safety compliance across the venue.
  • Collaborate with hirers to identify and maximize ancillary ticketing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in live events or venue operations, specifically delivering large-scale onsite events.
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, ideally Ticketmaster or TM1.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and operational resources.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety compliance and safe work practices in a venue environment.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required by the event schedule.
