Event Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the weddings and corporate events sector
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to event confirmation to ensure high conversion rates
• Develop customized event proposals and quotations tailored to specific client needs
• Maintain a strong database of vendors, suppliers, venues, and industry contacts
• Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and referral partners
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
• Conduct sales presentations, site visits, and event consultations
• Collaborate with the event operations team to ensure seamless event delivery
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities within the hospitality industry

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in event sales, specifically focusing on weddings and corporate events
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Strong existing network of vendors, suppliers, venues, and event industry professionals
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and timelines simultaneously
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with luxury weddings or high-end corporate events
• Prior experience working with a UAE-based event company and deep local market knowledge
