About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach.
- Prepare and present timely quotes and proposals to customers via various booking systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support the customer experience.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and hotel personnel.
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline and ensure all opportunities are accurately recorded in the CRM.
- Support sales forecasting efforts and maintain knowledge of emerging event technologies.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree or 1+ years of equivalent experience.
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of technology sales or hospitality experience.
- Prior sales experience in the audiovisual industry.
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry and standard sales processes.
