Event Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Sell and service events for in-house groups and outside clients
• Focus on selling Banquet Food and Beverage, menu planning, and agenda setting
• Review contracts and facilitate communication with hotel staff before, during, and post-event
• Conduct site inspections and maintain strong customer relationships
• Collaborate with the culinary department to design menus that maximize operating profit
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high service standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
• 1 year of food and beverage experience
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation and interpretation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
• Experience with hospitality CRM systems (Delphi, Daylight, Marriott CI/TY, or Starwood ISAC) is preferred
