Event Retail Operations Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision and execution of in-venue merchandise experiences across the Formula 1 ecosystem.
• Design differentiated, immersive retail experiences that connect with fans and drive revenue.
• Define and implement visual merchandising standards that reflect the F1 brand.
• Manage retail performance metrics, including sales, conversion, AOV, and product sell-through.
• Oversee inventory flow, replenishment, and on-site stock strategy to maximize sales.
• Recruit, train, and manage in-venue retail teams and external partners.
• Partner with Events, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Travel to key events to lead on-site operations, including equipment vendors and safety contractors.
• Develop scalable playbooks for retail execution, staffing, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in an event retail related field.
• 8 years of retail event planning experience in a retail and festival environment or equivalent experience.
• Strong financial and budgeting skills.
• Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, including data entry and database management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours and schedules, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to tolerate loud noise levels and busy, high-energy environments.
