Event Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead daily floor operations, including the timely setup, refresh, and removal of audiovisual equipment.
• Direct the workflow of technicians and manage team communications to ensure event success.
• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with guests on-site to ensure equipment and setups meet their needs.
• Train and mentor technicians on venue operational standards, technical skills, and company service protocols.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and perform preventative maintenance on all audiovisual equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is secure, properly stored, and maintained according to company safety and security measures.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of audio-visual experience.
• Proven experience leading workflows and managing team members.
• Strong knowledge of technical theory and advanced problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in customer service or hospitality.
• Experience working in a hotel or convention center environment.
