About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the operational execution and end-to-end delivery of Precinct Activations to ensure commercial outcomes are met.
- Project manage the build and fit-out of activations, including coordination of production briefs and schedules.
- Manage multiple suppliers and agencies to ensure deliverables are installed on time, within budget, and to a high quality.
- Oversee day-to-day activation operations and manage event staff during major events like the Australian Open.
- Collaborate with infrastructure delivery teams, precinct operations, and contractors to refine product activations and elevations.
- Manage and track OH&S and compliance requirements for all suppliers, including documentation for the City of Melbourne.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing event builds.
- Experience working on major events or large-scale outdoor brand activations.
- Strong project management, organizational, and operational planning skills.
- Experience in team management and leadership.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar financial budgets.
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills, including responding to client briefs.
- Ability to hold (or willingness to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma of Project Management.
