Event Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on front of house operations, including setup, logistics, event day delivery, and post-event reporting
• Coordinate with Promoters, Tour Managers, and Suppliers to ensure operational readiness
• Oversee risk assessments, hazard controls, and emergency preparedness, acting as Chief Warden when required
• Recruit, roster, train, and manage a large team of over 100 casual FOH staff and security personnel
• Manage incident reporting and contribute to the venue's OH&S Committee
• Oversee operational expenditure and staffing resources to meet income and budget targets

Requirements

• Proven experience in event or venue operations, ideally within live music or entertainment
• Demonstrated experience managing large casual teams in high-pressure environments
• Strong expertise in risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and incident management
• High level of organizational skill and attention to detail
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and staffing costs
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
