About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the overall execution of all scheduled events in the hotel’s event spaces
  • Lead and manage Event Captains, Event Servers, and Bartenders
  • Manage event staffing, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Oversee event setup and teardown processes
  • Monitor event labor costs and optimize operations
  • Maintain event documentation, including set-up sheets and floorplans
  • Manage inventory for B&C supplies, china, glass, and silver
  • Control expenses to budget and reconcile financial records
  • Maintain strong communication with culinary, food & beverage, and client teams

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in Event Management
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to carry a full service tray and lift at least 30 pounds
  • Knowledge of event management and industry standard software
